**SWEET SUPERCAR CONTENT*** Cars & Coffee Irvine March 14, 2009 Photo Set
Here is my photo set from the Cars & Coffee meet in Irvine on March 14, 2009. It was a gloomy morning that never really cleared up. The crowd was HUGE and in a good mood regardless.
This was a cool day because my son and I got to meet TS member LABrit in person! It was great getting me meet Josh and his uncle and cousin. They are great people. Josh's uncle drove a sweet black F430 to the meet as well!
The lineup was good. Of most interest was the Maserati MC12 that showed up after almost everyone else had left. Be sure to check out the Maserati sub forum for a cool video I shot of the MC12 starting up and driving away. A very rare spot indeed. We were lucky enough to spot another 1951 Merc 300SL Gullwing - and this time in RED!! A pack of nice Lambos showed up as well.
As usual, if you want to see the entire 100 pic photo set, go to Downforce Media- powered by SmugMug. Enjoy!
Ferrari 599 GTB. I love this color. My second favorite after red.

Another nice 599 GTB. This is THE best color combo. The lines on this car are perfect.

A 599 GTB with the car it was designed on - a 575 Maranello.

A sweet yellow Porsche GT2. The yellow Ferrari F355 in the background doesn't hurt either!

Can you believe our luck! That's 2 times in a row that we have seen an immaculate 1951 Merc 300SL Gullwing - and this time in RED!!

This is one of the cleanest F430s I have ever seen.

A very nice F360 Modena.

This Aston Martin Vanquish S was a real treat. LABrit loved this car - imagine that!

A pair of Cobras.

Gratuitous shot of my own car.

I really liked this Gallardo Spider.

Only Lambo can get away with these candy store colors. I love it!

Like brothers!

Happy St. Patty’s day!

WOW!!!

The Challenge Stradale is one of the great Ferraris.

A pair of vintage Porsche P1900 Roadsters!

It doesn't get much better than this in vintage Porsche.

Out with the old - In with the NEW!

A pair of nice Lotus flowers.

A sweet F430.

Here are the shots of the Maserati MC12. This thing is HUGE – like an Enzo on steroids.

Look at the people’s reaction to this car. It just made everyone’s day.

That's my boy!

And one for the side of me that loves self-deprecating humor!

I thought of that afterward! We should have spend some time with that sweet F430!

Awesome pics Dana. I am partial to classics, so thank you for posting some 427 Cobras, 356 Speedsters and especially that 300SL.
What was up with the rims on the XKS? Very shiny!!!! Very OC!!!!
I am seriously thinking about planning my next trip to SoCal around a C&C meet.

The 430 is fun when you're not sitting on a freeway at a fairly constant speed. I ended up having to modulate the throttle by letting off around 85 to stop the drone, it was really annoying. It's a lot of fun around town, though i still think a 6 speed would be much more involving - there's no finesse to driving an F1 equipped car.

Sad to say, I did not even set eyes on it! When I come up to LA next time, we'll all have to get together again and do a proper photo shoot.
