We tried shooting it, mixing it, and dripping water over a sugar cube into it (as recommended on the label of Lucid)... One of my friends was able to drink a lot of it, but everyone else thought it was terrible.

My first taste of absinthe was from an acquaintance who had just started making it himself. It was like a mixture of gasoline and turpentine. I puked, but was fairly tripping. I became acutely aware of beauty and ugliness in all it's forms......people, smells, music. I left the party because of the industrial they were playing. When I got home, immediately went to the corner bodega for fresh cat litter and jasmine incense, and spent the rest of the evening looking at hot girls online and listening to Beethoven's symphonies.

"Unfortunately LTV is not a traditional absinthe, it is artificially colored, pre-sweetened, and rather minty. That's not to say you can't enjoy drinking it of course!"

Thought it was too good to be true! Well, they certainly are promoting their product.

It's because I shot my mouth off in the gun forum. Lot of severe opinions there, and thanks!

Time for a thread bump.

Always been curious about trying Absinthe out. (A legitimate one, not some cheap knock off brand)

Where would you guys recommend buying from online that's a reputable source?

DrinkLucid.com?
