The Japanese tuners are often overlooked. They came out hard in the early 90's with a strong following. Unfortunately, it seems many people default to an image of Fast & Furious. This is a mistake. There are a handful of high end tuners that produce world-class cars with very tasteful styling. Visibility and import frustrations also contribute to the lack of enthusiasm for Japanese tuners.

Read an article on them a while ago. I find the Japanese love for random words that sound cool absolutely hilarious. The "STELLA ARTOIS", "NATTY DREAD" or "ROYAL MONTEGO BAY" side graphics have absolutely nothing to do with anything, it's just something that the builder thought sounded cool and decided to put on

I go through the speed hunters articles at least once a month and drool
