I don't know who to thank. Johnnie Cochran for the original post or Abdon for bumping this thing up. I admit I've read this article before but totally missed that it was posted here on TS. I'm so in love with this car, even though the interior is a bit too hardcore even for my taste. I mean, look at the pedal area or the dashboard (remainings of dashboard).
Still, if I had a 993 TT and the opportunity I would let RWB go bananas with it.

How does someone in the US NOT have one of these?? (well, aside from the probable infinite list of things that make it illegal to own one in the States...)

Badass is the only way to describe this car.

awareness & distance i would assume. most of the performance related mods can be duplicated here easily, it's the bespoke bodywork that is unique. i don't think legality would be an issue if you shipped a US car to japan for the work and had it shipped back when it was completed.

btw, i prefer their blue 993 to the one featured in this thread. (nakai-san's personal 930 is hard to beat though)

Good point.

The Japanese tuners are often overlooked. They came out hard in the early 90's with a strong following. Unfortunately, it seems many people default to an image of Fast & Furious. This is a mistake. There are a handful of high end tuners that produce world-class cars with very tasteful styling. Visibility and import frustrations also contribute to the lack of enthusiasm for Japanese tuners.
