2011 Formula 1 British Grand Prix Banter Thread

Yeah, this off-throttle diffuser ban was certain a huge step forward for Ferrari. The McLarens have always been strong in race trim than in qualifying though, so it may be too soon to write off their weekend as a complete failure. We don't know which cars are going to be completely reliable either.
It also looks like the rules could get reverted back to pre-Silverstone engine mapping if the Renault-powered and Mercedes-powered teams can convince the rest of the paddock. There has to be some sort of compromise between the teams as the rules for this weekend's race won't make it to the next race by the looks of it, and that would reverse Ferrari's progress as well as McLaren's demise.

You are so well-spoken that I you almost made me feel better.
But - alas - I am far too negative tonight to be influenced.
I am sick of McLaren half-assing it. They have a massive budget, the best people and committed drivers. They should not be qualifying last in Q3.
People know me. I am a McLaren fan. But - first and foremost - I am a Lewis Hamilton fan.
It is getting hard for me to endure this.
Sorry, a bit frustrated.
