It's too bad it rained in the last few minutes, the final flying lap would have been interesting.

Good for Webber.

Man look at all those cars in front of Hamilton. What's up with that?

I'd love to know what Horner and Newey are thinking right now, something along the lines of "take this 1-2 Charlie Whiting and shove it up your..."

YAY!!!! Webber on pole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The word around the paddock is that the changes to the Red Bull's have disadvantaged Vettel, and given Webber the upper hand! I am starting 1, 3, 5

Hamilton's lap was on used softs from Q1. He was going to use new softs at the end of the session but it ended up sprinkling. Sounds reminiscent of his Monaco qualifying a little bit with the strategy of waiting till the end of the session to set a truly quick lap. His loss.

The Ferraris are going to be a thorn in the Bulls' side going into Turn 1...they always seem to take off better. Can't wait for the race, I'm starting 1, 2, 4.

One more regulation change and Ferrari will finally be on top, as they seem to be the greatest beneficiary.

The blown diffuser changes have clearly slowed down the Bulls and (surprisingly) the McLarens, even with the engine overrun help. Now I see why Martin Whitmarsh has looked so unhappy, I thought he was bluffing but apparently not.

Duck Yeah!!!!1 WEBBARRR FTW!! just got home and watched qualifying after managing not to find out the results all night.

There was alot of talk saying the changes to the blown diffuser will bring back the difference between the Red Bull drivers and more into the favour of webbers driving style, as if you look back to last season when Red Bull had brought the blown diffuser in to full effect just after half way though that Vettel gained a bit of speed on Webs and only has gained more till they banned the EBD.. Will be interesting to see how this race and the next couple go to see if that .4sec gap has vanished in qualifying (note Vettel has never had that gap in the race thus far)...

Also as a betting man, I would put money of Webber going to Ferrari next year

I think we'll see one more rule change before the race, but it won't take effect till the German GP. No matter what certain teams will be unhappy with the changes while certain teams benefit more.

Teams to consider diffuser rule offer on Sunday morning - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com
