I might go up for the event, depending on the weekend. WG is an awesome track.

Hopefully Lewis does better in the stock car than Stewart in the F1 car relatively speaking of course.

This is true, but imagine stepping from a NASCAR performance envelope to an F1 car (50% more power, 1/3 the weight, 3x the grip). If you get within even a couple of seconds of the experienced and championship-winning F1 driver's time, that's quite an accomplishment. Remember the clips with Richard Hammond (a decent non-pro driver) or Chris Harris/Steve Sutcliffe (both race-experienced drivers with experience of some heavy equipment), or Tiff Needell (F1-experienced, but not a modern car) all drove contemporary F1 cars. In each case, they were (understandably) completely overwhelmed by the experience, and were, in some cases, barely able to summon the nerve to plant the throttle. F1 cars are a completely different world.

I remember that Top Gear episode with Hammond driving the Renault F1 car...it was unbelievable how overwhelmed he was. You HAVE to drive an F1 car all-out, or not at all...there really isn't an in-between level for those less-experienced drivers.

I'm sorry. I don't understand how doing donuts in a street car translates into being able to drive any call well.

I am sure he will do well because of his natural talent, though.

My attempt at being Sarcastic…at the end of a NASCAR race the winner often does donuts
