Rumors Link Webber With Ferrari
At least three media sources are claiming Mark Webber is a contender to replace Felipe Massa at Ferrari next year.
Britain's The Sun, the Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, and British journalist James Allen all reported the rumor from the scene of this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
It is already rumored that Robert Kubica is another contender to replace struggling Brazilian Massa, whose current teammate Fernando Alonso is under long-term contract.
The Sun also said Webber, 33, could retire if he is not retained by Red Bull in 2011 and is unable to find another top ride.
Kimi Raikkonen has been linked with Webber's seat at the energy drink-owned team, and the newspaper said "the pieces of the puzzle" could be in place by July.
El Mundo, meanwhile, raised the possibility that Massa could simply swap seats with Webber and race alongside Sebastian Vettel next year.

I doubt Webber would go to Ferrari. Every time a driver wins a race or finishes well in a few races, they automatically get "linked" to Ferrari. Of course Ferrari would like to have the best drivers on their team but that doesn't mean they're going to sign them just because they've won a race or two.

ferrari = kimi * 1/red bull [1 - 1 /(1+red bull)]+massa/(1+redbull)
Solve for red bull (R) at present value; { vettel + webber / 2}

i agree with u man
i think all these "rumors" are coming out partly because Massa is struggling at the moment...... I'm pretty disappointed at his performance so far this season compared to what Alonso showed people.....

it's been talked about ever since he started running red bulls wrc car. after the way webber's career has gone it would be nice to see him retain a top seat but his age is a definite factor. i think kubica is more likely at the moment but the rest of the season might play into mark's hands if he keeps his form up. regardless, if massa keeps putting in performances like he has been he won't be in a red car next year, no matter who his manager is.
