GT1 World Championship-Abu Dhabi-Quali suspended
The FIA GT1 World Championship qualifying race stopped in Q1 after a high-speed accident involving Ford GT Matech driver Natacha Gachnang.
No details about the accident reasons or how the driver is doing were announced, but from the way she crashed it definitely looks like a tech failure, she literary crashed with a very high speed in a straight line into the barrier “one of the strongest impacts I’ve ever seen” , but she seems lucky that the accident was in Yas Marina Circuit, i asked a couple of medics they indicated to me that Natacha had fractured some bones but nothing is critical or life threatening.
