Seems like the barriers/tire walls need an upgrade the most. It was a freak accident that Massa was struck in the face by the torsion spring but I feel like the barrier is what is usually the more dangerous element of a crash. I don't think NASCAR's newer super safety barriers would work because they're designed for the kind of crashes you don't see in F1 as often, but something needs to be done to improve the safety of the barriers and replace the tire walls.

wow I didnt even know qualifying was today. Can someone post a schedule or link me to the schedule for the actual race?

I just saw this story while watching the MLS game on ESPN2... it says hes stable now.
