well marc gene and luca badoer are the test drivers so i would assume one of them. marc is 2 or 3 years younger though and just won le mans in the peugeot so maybe he will get the nod.

 

just talked to a friend who said there is a paddock rumor that michael will deputise for the rest of the season...probably just a rumor but thought i'd share.

 

Holy crap! I didn't think it was so serious. Best wishes to Massa and a speedy recovery. It's such a shame because he was just starting to really find his groove this season.

The biggest shame of them all is that I have him on my fantasy team for this race...

 

 

gazzeto del sport is reporting ferrari has asked schumi to take over for the rest of the season and he is considering it. also, there is another rumor that bourdais may be given the drive because of his recent experience with a ferrari engined car (his STR) and may be able to adapt quickly to the ferrari chassis. both are doubtful, bourdais least likely.

i don't put much stock in the italian news media so we will see.

 

Whoa. The story is crazy, the video is nuts ... but the picture is just freaky!!!

I just hope he's alright in the end, that looks gnarly!

 

he's not out of the woods yet. different sources are reporting different things, some say he has life threatening injuries. it's quite disconcerting, we have been lucky in F1 for a long time...i hope we continue in the same vein.
