Ferrari snubs FIA's automatic entry
Formula One news: Ferrari snubs FIA's automatic entry - GPUpdate.net Formula One

Ferrari has responded to the FIA's view that the team will be considered as automatically entering the 2010 championship. With the Formula One Teams Association (FOTA) still in disagreement over the governing body's €45m budget cap, the Scuderia has responded with a statement.
With FOTA members having submitted only conditional entries for next year, all current teams bar Williams and Force India stand to leave the sport in the event of the budget cap not being lifted. The FIA has already stated, however, that - having signed an agreement lasting until the end of 2012 - Ferrari's entry will be put forward by default. The Italian marque's team principal, Stefano Domenicali, responded to this on Wednesday, stating that the constructors' Champions' view on the circumstances have and will not alter.
Following a FOTA meeting on Wednesday, Domenicali's statement reads: 'Ferrari's position has not changed. Back on 29 May, we put in a conditional entry with the other teams that make up FOTA. Along with this entry, we put forward to the FIA a package of proposals which included, among other elements, a significant reduction in costs. As always, we will do all we can to find a solution that is acceptable to all parties. If this is not possible, the FIA will not be able to include Ferrari in the list of teams entered for the 2010 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.'

Yeah man, I guess we will see it all go down tomorrow. Between this, and Renaults letter to their suppliers... I don't think FOTA is F*ing around.
