The decaying American Automobile
This is a series of images I shot back in May for my final project for my Large format photography class. All the images were shot with a 4x5 camera with color film and then later converted to B+W after being scanned.
I wanted to show that even though these cars have been neglected and forgotten about, that they still have a certain beauty to them. I chose to limit myself to only shooting American cars that were built prior to 1980. I shot this series in a span of a week driving around Savannah, Georgia.
I wish I had a bit longer to work on this series, finding these cars was a lot harder then I originally expected it to be.

And for those that are curious, this is the camera that was used

Unfortunately I didn't make a Billion of these
I completely agree about the last image
its 4x5 film, the biggest prints ive seen at 40x50inch from a digital scan, but if your using an enlarger, i guess it all depends on the limitations of the enlarger
