Thanks everyone. So I guess I need a D700 and 24-70. JT, I got such a great deal on the D300s that I will be able to move it easily for the same dollars, so it will be a wash if I decide to sell.

JT, I will talk to you before I buy. I still want to give it a few weeks to see what happens with the D800(?) or whatever, only because it will push D700 prices down a bit, I keep hearing HUGE mega pixel on the D800 and I don't care or need that.

Alex, I you get first rights on my D300s once I make a decision. It should be within a month or so...
