To Full Frame or to not Full Frame that is the question

FYI...
Today while shopping for CF cards I noticed that the price of Sandisk Extreme Pro 90mb/s had gone down at BH photo and Adorama. Basically you can score two 32 gig cards for the price of yesterdays twin 16gb card deal.
I'm not sure if this is just a sale or an inevitable price slash. I was going to purchase some Transcend 600x cards but these cards are exactly the same price. Easy decision for me now.
16gb - $60 (was $98)
32gb - $100 (was $220)
64gb - $222
Adorama seems to have a small discount if you purchase two.
Here are two quick links:

Comes in to buy a full frame top of the line camera.
Buys memory cards.

On the original subject, I'm still torn myself. The low light performance and dynamic range of the FF blows me away, but I like the reach and performance (fps) of a good crop. I'd have to try out a new crop camera in low light to really know.

The important thing about full frame is it's a lot more than just the crop factor and wider shots. It's truly significantly larger and as you know, that's the point where the camera gathers and records all the information of the photo.

Just to make things even more confusing for you, Rob, I'm planning on picking up a D300s soon.
But, it's to replace my D200 as a backup camera because although the D700 is my bread-and-butter workhorse, I still sometimes wish I had the extra reach of a DX sensor, especially when I'm shooting races on a sunny day and don't need the high ISO performance of my D700. The problem (if you want to call it that) is that both cameras bring something unique to the table and it really comes down to what you need and how much money you feel comfortable spending.
For me, my D700 is fantastic for most of the work I do and if I'm shooting a wedding or just quick snaps of a car without a tripod, it's great to have the ability to ratchet up the ISO and use a faster shutter speed without really having to think twice about degrading the image quality.
I regularly shoot at over ISO1000 on my D700 and I won't dare go over ISO 640 on my D200, so that's worth it alone right there for what I shoot. The reason I want the D300s now is because my backup D200 just feels so old and cumbersome compared to the D700. Every time I use my D200, I wish I had a bigger, brighter viewfinder, more focus points, the better grip of the MB-D10, etc. On it's own, the D200 is a great camera but compared to the D700, it feels like a toy. I'd imagine I'd have the same feelings when comparing the D300s to the D200.
In either case, upgrading from the D200 will be a noticeable improvement.

Thanks for everyones help. I looked all over the place and couldn't beat the deal I found on this lightly used D300s, so I am going for it. Who knows if this gets me excited to shoot again I will look for the D800/D4 in a year. I am super excited. Meeting him at lunch to do the transaction.
Anyone want a great deal on the D200?

Awesome, and congrats.
And I say play if you can!!!!
I've been suffering through tons of work this week, knowing my new toy is sitting at home. And it's been amazingly beautiful, sunny, colorful trees, etc. outside... perfect fall days.
That's why all the pictures and video in this post are in darkness
play, Play, PLAY!
