Also, those are underexposed.
Winter tip for those of us with snow/ice, overexpose to +0.5 or +1, otherwise your ice/snow will look gray and dark.

That's the thing - with practice you get down the fundamentals. And great advice like the other guys on here are offering. There are tons of resources online. I'm still miles and miles away from being fundamentally sound, but I do know what is pleasing to me.
I think you've got one of the most important things going really good, which is composition. The shots really convey to me the excitement and action of the game.
And with digital it's so much easier to practice these days. Imagine trying to get dialed in when you're limited to 24 shots at a time (that you have to pay for!), and you can't even review them until they're developed! I take 24 shots in one finger press now and immediately trash 1/2 of them!
Not to mention Photoshop!
