Best Compact Camera.

I'll probably be picking up a Canon SD1200IS soon for myself just to have a less conspicuous camera than the D200 that I can slip into my pocket when I go out. The Canon Elph range offers great value for the money but they're missing a lot of features you might be accustomed to with your DSLR like RAW files, etc.

Anyone know somewhere that has them in stock?

I know I'm a little late in the conversation, and surely the decision is made, but you may consider (even if you already got something else) picking up a waterproof camera. Especially if you're going to the beach, etc.
They are GREAT little "extra" cameras to have if you're going to be out one day in adverse/wet/sandy/etc. conditions, where you don't have to worry about it getting messed up. I bought the Olympus Stylus Tough 8000, but I'd also recommend the Canon Powershot D10 Waterproof. Both of those are water and shock proof, and you can take decent movies. It's a cheap way to make sure you can get pictures and videos of almost any situation. Example:
