Awesome choice. I saw one in person and LOVED IT! I could see myself getting one over a C4S (gasp!) at some point....much better price point lol...as i am not YET a boogerhead..
As for the MB comments. Audi > MB but AMG > Any Audi

Congrats OP - sounds like a good decision to get into a bit safer mode of transport. With that said any RS is going to be anything but tame.
(I would absolutely line up for the RS4 Avant if it comes to the states)
