The R8 GT does not use the wheels of the V12 TDI Concept.

You have NHTSA and FMVSS to thank for for this assinine requirement.

I wish we would sign up with ECE and get rid of this useless NHTSA that gave us among a list of impressively smart and useful regulations, super duper powerful airbags calibrated for unbelted adult male.

Audi must destroy several of them in government crash testing before we can be confident that they are safe for our roads.

These are the things I have a serious gripe with. If in under some freak coincidence every single person that purchased an RS6 were to get in a crash and die, that statistic would be almost infinitely minimal to the number of automotive deaths that occur in the US.
There has to be some exclusivity clause saying that the expected number of sales of a certain car would not make any difference to whether they are "safe" or not.
I was saying the same thing on another forum about how the US didnt allow the Huyara to be sold here for the same reason.

Also, on this note, do Ferrari and Lamborghini have to go through the crash testing processes to qualify for United States sales?

Regardless, this is an absolutely stunning wagon and I cannot imagine one that I would want more.

Hotemetoot is an unknown quantity at this point
The taillights simply don't look like audi... they keep reminding me of Volkswagen.

I'm hoping we'll see the promised manual trans for the RS5 eventually.
