They're too dangerous to have in the states! People would be dying every single day from RS6 crashes. Sure, the A6 Avant may have passed crash testing perfectly fine, but this thing has a new bumper cover and different FENDERS! That changes everything and complete nullifies the A6 tests. Audi must destroy several of them in government crash testing before we can be confident that they are safe for our roads.



The president of Audi of America admitted that the requirement to destroy several examples in crash testing is the only reason we don't get them. He knows we want them, but not enough people want them to offset the regulatory destruction.
