Love it in white with those wheels!!

Are the OEM mirrors for TT-RS brushed alu or matte alu?

I was considering getting a set for my car to match oxygen silver and not sure if I want brush or matte alum

 

Yeah, it's already happening... Feeling the need for more volume from the exhaust already! Just. Can't. Get. Enough!

Thanks! Surprisingly, I know the pictures make it look white, but it's actually Suzuka Gray -- you can really see the difference when you see it parked next to a white car/object.

The OEM mirrors are matte aluminum. I think it's a really cool touch, compared to the brushed alum. on other S/RS model cars.

 

Are you planning to keep the rotor wheels?

I read your post too, and then still called it white... I just assumed your white balance was off

Ah, that's why they have the neat look to them. I think I'm gonna order a set of those mirrors to match oxygen silver side blade!

 

Yeah, it's crazy how white the color looks in photos. There's a great photo out there (can't seem to find it now) that had a white TT-S and a Suzuka TT-RS parked next to each other -- you could really spot the big difference.

I think the matte mirrors would look absolutely sick with the silver side blade -- although your stock mirrors look mighty nice too!

I think I'm going to keep the rotor wheels at least through this winter. I really like the way that they look (they look sweet on your R8, by the way!). But, I'm sure some aftermarket wheels will be calling my name soon enough
