Best driving roads in NorCal?

I will be in NorCal for Pebble week and wouldn't mind hitting a few nice roads ... south of SF.

I've found out about Carmel Valley Road, between Carmel and Greenfield, which is said to be amazing.

Highway 1 also looks promising (from google maps) going south of Carmel.

Lots of stuff in Napa or Yosemite ... but that's a bit too out of the way ...

Any suggestions?

Skyline Boulevard (Route 35) from Santa Cruz north is very scenic and often used for runs. Definitely drive Highway 1 South as far as you are willing to go. Checkout Nepenthe for lunch along the way. Though I must admit, a few miles south of there, the quality of roads isn't so good. Hope this helps

Highway 9 and 84 connecting to Skyline (35) are both great on weekdays (weekends you are likely to run into slow cars that won't pull over).
