2013 Dodge Viper Spy Shots

A TT V8 was rumored for a while, though all of the information I have is that the "new" engine will be a destroked 4-valve OHC version of the current one. Probably the same ballpark power wise, with less torque, more weight, and more nanny crap.
Remains to be seen how badly they ruin the thing, though so long as 8.4L crate engines are available, you could always fix it.

I guess an OHC V10 would be acceptable, if they do it right.

Ok, going to clear a few things up here. First of all, to those of you saying "it looks the same". Are you serious? Of course it does because it is the NEW front end on an OLD SRT. It is a mule. You guys should be smart enough to know that. Secondly, the new Viper will be a N/A V10 with 700 HP. Yes, I know this for sure. I know a couple of people who have driven SRT mules with the new engine.
For all of those who are truly car enthusiast, you should know by now not to judge a car by what it looks like under camo and definitely not until you see one up-close-and-personal. Just wait. This car is going to be amazing.
BTW, the Government is the one making Dodge add the nannies. Its called Government mandate.
