If the experience of the car is the deciding factor, get the ACR. It is "different" enough from the normal cars to warrant the extra bucks, IMO, though you can make a normal coupe or roadster just as quick/sticky.

One of the best things about the car is that it is one of the few left in the world that truly scares the shit out of people.

I find them quite easy to drive once you get used to the "viper way". They're wonderful cars.

This is kind of tough for me. I would buy one. But only as 4th or 5th car at best. I grew up dreaming of owning a Viper. It was the first car I fell in love with. But there are too many other cars I would buy first. I really like the ACR, but for my interests and uses I doubt I would buy one.

That's a pretty good vid. For reference, my turbocharged Elise on street tires is about 20 seconds slower than that around Monticello.
