I know a nice dude who's done all the r&d on it, so for less then that you'll be able to cruise canyons in your own lane.

If the experience of the car is the deciding factor, get the ACR. It is "different" enough from the normal cars to warrant the extra bucks, IMO, though you can make a normal coupe or roadster just as quick/sticky.

One of the best things about the car is that it is one of the few left in the world that truly scares the shit out of people.

I find them quite easy to drive once you get used to the "viper way". They're wonderful cars.

 

As an Elise owner... yes! Stripped-out race car for the road, yes please!

 

I would buy one in a heart beat, no doubt. They are badass, simple as that.

 

This is kind of tough for me. I would buy one. But only as 4th or 5th car at best. I grew up dreaming of owning a Viper. It was the first car I fell in love with. But there are too many other cars I would buy first. I really like the ACR, but for my interests and uses I doubt I would buy one.

That's a pretty good vid. For reference, my turbocharged Elise on street tires is about 20 seconds slower than that around Monticello.

 

this but the ACR isnt a bad second option.
