ferrari underpinnings could be a real possibility for the next viper though.

The SLS is based on the next-gen Viper.
Sort of like Maybach before '07+ S-class.

Well I have know idea what the supposed next viper and sls have in common, simply based on the temporal nature of things how is the production sls based on a car that doesn't have a concept out (that I know of). If there is any relation, wouldn't the viper be based off the sls? Anyways...

my face is in my palm.
the title of your thread is "next gen viper", therefore the content of your thread regards the next generation viper. the SLS is irrelevant to the discussion as mercedes no longer owns chrysler, what that means is that the SLS cannot be the next viper so your guess of the next viper being an "SLS with a 6 speed" is wrong. my guess is that fiat, the new owner of chrysler, will dip into the ferrari parts bin for the next viper. clear enough?
how is this not computing?
