I like the GTR, but I don't. Performance wise it's great, but looks wise.....it looks bulky, it just doesn't do much for me.

And I agree with you about the M3.
Purely considering the GS for ride quality (F55 suspension is out this model year - '11) and warranty. When I had my Z06, I used the full 505 hp about 2% of the time. 436 HP would be plenty...plus you can get a '10 for $10K off sticker and 0% finance for 60 months. NOt ruling out the Z06 by any stretch just looking at my options.

As far as the GTR goes -- I like the looks of the car and it's performance speaks for itself...I'm just leary of the maintenance/repair costs (namely brakes/rotors at 18k miles) and the "game boy" stereotype of their owners. Tried to have a civil discussion on NAGTROC and those guys are about as bad as the Porsche and BMW guys on 6speed and e90post.

F'ing fanbois everywhere.

Meh, You will get fan boys no matter what car it is, besides, we've all been a fan boy at one time or another.

Good luck with whatever your choice is, and it doesn't matter what it is, as long as your happy with it.

Whenever I see a Vette, it deserves respect because through time this car has earned its rep with its perfectly balanced engine. You can do anything to this car, even though of its shiat ass quality and shiat ass plasticish fiber glassish made in a back yard material.... It still is a vette!!

I think this is true, but I also think various other marques/models are viewed the same way. Porsche, BMW (particularly dbag 3series drivers), Ferrari, Vipers... And so on... At the end of the day, everyone has an opinion.
