My small collection
Thought I would post some pictures of my small collection. Please excuse the crap iPhone pictures they looked alot more blurry once on the computer lol.
These are not all but just a couple I had in the "drinking rack" all of these have been kept in proper storage for the years. Every 6 months my father and I pull out the next 6 months bottles ready to drink and put them in the rack.
1998 Richmond Grove, this is from the Barossa Valley Region in South Australia

1984 Lindemans from the Coonawarra Region in South Australia

1991 Hermitage from the Coonawarra estate again

This is Dads office fridge, with mutlipile different wines including a couple Grange 2003,2005,2006

Some more of his second wine fridge in the office, lots of Penfolds not all Grange but a few more from early 90's late 80's

Understairs storage this is where bottles sit prior to going to the "drinking rack"

Boxes upon Boxes not even open these are generally not overly expensive ranging from $30AUD-$150AUD per bottle so dont go in the rack as are normally used for presents and gatherings, also some Davidoff cigars and another brand I am not sure of as I am not a cigar smoker

These are some of the spirits we have around the pool table area for drinking; Jack Daniels Silver Select, Wild Turkey Tradition, Remy Martin XO, Hendricks Gin

More...the black box is 21yr old Chivas Regal, Blue Label :S YUKK, some Saki (spelling?), 12yr old Canadian Club, and some other bourbons

1978 Rosemount Estate Cab Sav this was given to dad and wasnt stored properly and has gone off so it more of a display piece

and finally another bottle from the Barossa Valley a cab sav from the Willows Vineyard

Hope you enjoyed
Regards,
Mitch

When you give me an invite for Brissy to meet these girls you speak of I will have to bring a couple nice bottles of Red and a Vodka or Scotch to have a "dignified" night "tasting" them lol
I have my eye on a 1988 Henschke Hill of Grace which is my birth year to enjoy with dad.

Yup! Was in the Barossa and McLaren Vale about a month after the flood [for Aussie Champs MTB weekend] and sent some cartons home. Have also just got back from driving down to Melbourn and back. We passed through the Hunter, Mornington Peninsular. Did Yarra Valley and Grampians and hit Mudgee on the way back. What a trip!!!
