I always think viper= compensating for small dick. Corvette is more like midlife crisis with gold chain and chest hair hanging out of their shirt. I can remember the ugliest combo i have ever seen was a blue corvette, red interior and white top. I know it's patriotic, but how much cheesier can you get?

And sense you want to start something, my VDUB that's 37 years old that I bought, funny thing about it, the seats down jiggle under hard breaking, and unlike your corvette, my steering wheel, funny story about that too, doesn't come off some cheap ass model.

Now the looking cool part, sense I'm 17, I would probably look cooler in a civic, with a fart can, or better yet have my mommy and daddy buy me a bimmer. Instead, I bought a 2,300 pound, no abs or power steering, 4 spd manual car specifically for canyon driving. what was I thinking....silly me....

O, and nice mangina
In all honesty --- hats off to you for buying that type of car. Actually, I have nothing against the 911. I had an '03 996tt and an '05 997S (along with a CaymanS). They just didn't "do it" for me. I tried like hell to love them. I also agree with you about the C3 and C4 Vettes...not a fan. I do like all of the C6's -- widebody and non widebody.

I will also say the 997S I had was the biggest rattle trap of any car I ever owned.

Thanks for the kudos on the mangina

My first car was a big thing for me, especially being a car enthusiast. I wanted something I could drive, but wouldn't lose its value instantly. So somehow I came across getting a p car and than I got one.

I wanted a c5 Z06 cs. I got a ride in one that was heavily modded and me being me I instantly wanted one. Car was fast as hell.

I like wide body Corvettes only. The non wides look to small and they just don't do it.

When are you gonna slap some nice satin black rims on your mangina, it would look sweet.

This would be killer. Currently I am Vetteless (just have the 335i now) until the end of the year when I will be getting either a new Vette GS, another C6Z06 or a GT-R.

Either one of these would be sweet

That's a hard call.

They both have their perks, and they both are completely different animals. Would you track at all? or just cruise?

Not a fan of the GTR, I was looking forward top it and thought I buy one, then I saw it live and realize how fat it is, and I was very disappointed. Also way too much electronics, I am not into the Playstation game console dashboard. I ant to drive a car and not a video game, and teh style reminded me of an old Celica from the late 80's.....I am just not into it at all. I bought a Z06 instead, totally love that car, just brutal and basic (with just enough help from the electronic), just a classic muscle machine with razor handling and way better looking.

I will barely track it at all-- perhaps 2-3 times a year which is why I may do the Vette GS

I do think the Z06 is a better looking car. Every time I see one on the road it makes me miss my '07 so much. The GT-R has much better seats and a better overall interior...albeit not Porsche or BMW quality. I am not a video game guy at all which is a bit of a turnoff on the GT-R. I have only seen the GT-R and sat in it but have not driven one as of yet. I have pretty much dismissed the E92M3 as a potential purchase...for some reason the car does not do it for me in the looks dept.

Unless it is for personal reasons, why step down from a Z06 into a GS? I've never driven either, but I'm pretty sure there is going to be a significant difference between the two. And the Z06 being the better of the two.

I like the GTR, but I don't. Performance wise it's great, but looks wise.....it looks bulky, it just doesn't do much for me.

And I agree with you about the M3.
