Readily available service is definitely a plus when it comes to cars..... its about 300 miles to the nearest lambo dealership. Clarkson does bring up some good points on the car.....

I would go with the SL, simply because its probably cooler to be seen in. That reason alone is worth it.
The C7 is YEARS away, and I doubt there will be another ZR1 with the EPA changes and fuel prices....

if i were in your shoes though, i'd do an FGT. at least you would be able to find your car in a parking lot.
That vid is nuts, and that isn't even the 7:22 the car ran....

Why call him a nimord? Aren't we adults?

The post in question was talking about reliabilty for one thing. A ZR1 is going to be more reliable and much less costly to repair/service then the Lambo. And the performance of the ZR1 ia better. So I could see his "confusion"....

hugo was pretty clear in his suggestion, nimrod seems to be an apt description at this point.

I agree. And I am taking delivery. Now if a dealership offer you a "brand new", 60 mile gallardo sl for 140s, would you take it?

I may be mistaken, but it looks like we are about to have our first ZR1 owner here on TS. If so, that is great news. What color?
