355 to 360

opportunity has presented itself

switch from my 355 to a red on red 360 coupe and i will only follow with it if and only if the finances that would go twds the f1 unit on the 355 go twds the "upgrade"

so, what do you think? what would you do?

if you can afford the upkeep of the 355 then stick with it! Such a amazing machine... now 355 to 430 is a diff game all in itself.

It really depends on the specifics of the 360 that is available.

What year and options?

In terms of performance, you will like the 360 better than the 355.

The 360 is a totally different - and better - car from the ground up.

Obviously, moving to an F430 would be ideal. But I don't believe you stated that as one of your options.

Man, personally I would rather have the 355 (with 3 pedals that is) over the 360. I would for sure take the 430 over the 355 though. I just love the classic look of the 355. Still one of the best looking and best sounding F-cars.

Is the performance of the 360 really that much better than the 355?

Without a doubt. 360>355 and I'm not a fan of the 360.

c money, upkeep is ok with me BUT the f1 system will cost 11k every time if there is anything with the unit.
i love the car, and i will miss it, and i am considering the 360 because it is only a better car as dana says and not a better ferrari .. imho
the f1 system on the 360 is more pocket friendly. right dana?

Dana, car is red on red, 2000, 44k km, from dealer and dealer serviced. i like everything about it on paper, and have told them i want to drive it and they were happy about that.

can you give me any experiences with the car? f1 system in particular?

labour wise i have a shop that does the belts service and i have the kit at hand from ricambi, very affordable and i like it.
the f1 components from eurospares.co.uk are very sensible as well

any owner advice will be appreciated

as for the 430, i respect its practicality and its friendly services but i was NEVER sold on it and it would have to be a spider, azzuri on beige, at the right price. ie impossible
