oh boy
drama never ends
new tcu deleted the error. that's good.
but AD mech called me to say the bearing is not moving at all?
he wants to show it to me first before dismantling it. tcu not getting reading from clutch is what i understood
this bearing is the hill engineering one offered by ricambi
so i'm not sure what the problem is, other than a bad installation job by the independent workshop (which does not make sense to me right now)
asked if they can reinstall it, they told me to come see it first. so i will go in an hr's time right after my 2nd lecture of the day and hopefully be able to return to work in time
i tell myself i will look back at all this and have a few laughs
but it certainly does not seem in the foreseeable future right now

problem: throw out bearing will not release
he tried to manually push it back, and it would not budge so that is what he showed me when i went there
they dismantled it and diagnosed that the problem is not with the bearing itself as a part (my post above), because that doesn't make any sense
turns out it is a problem with the return pressure
the pressure of f1 fluid is accumulating and holding fine
the engaging of the bearing is working but it is stuck, and not releasing
ad mechanic thinks there is something in the installation process. i told them this a month ago.
i have assured him the car was shifting fine on the old set-up (original) despite the flashing, and that i have driven it to the shop
PLUS i myself have seen first-hand at the independent shop the gear changes going up to 6th and back to 1st with the paddles when we first bolted on the 360 pump
problems ensued after the bleeding process, and .... whatever came next because i honestly cannot remember

if the former, yes, i certainly feel from Fchat that the F1 is a huge PITA and i have to admit that after learning more about it from all this: it is one of the most incredibly stupid engineered .. things .. ever
this is a last resort, and i am wishing it does not get to that, but i refuse to get a whole power unit!when i walked into the AD garage and saw my car for the first time in ~1 month, i actually went over to "touch it"
so yes, driving it will surely make me forget all this drama and i KNOW i will look back at this and have a few laughs and lots of stories to telli am waiting for a bleeding to be done and all hosing and connections quadruple-checked
will keep you guys posted, thank you for the sentiments

Stay positive, mate! All this is going to pay off and all will be well! Keep the positive attitude, and nonetheless don't beat yourself up too hard, if it makes you feel any better, my ISF has a instrument cluster wiring problem that may result in replacing my whole in-dash wiring harness
seems to be shorting throughout the harnesses..... ugh.
I am going through similar headaches, especially for a whole dash-loom it'll be close to $2.k/$3k with everything said and done at my dealer- and it's my FIRST issue with the ISF.

Take it easy, pal.

not good, long story short
i will follow some leads
but have also sent an email to ask about what parts are required to switch this thing to a manual. any experiences?
all options are open
let's see what happens
