F355 Reincarnation

ok guys quick update since i have to run
car is shifting, on original 355 set-up
hydraulic pressure is perfect at 55 psi
all gears engage, although no road test performed yet (don't think it would make a diff, would it?)
reverse as well, but getting a 'reverse switch' error on the computer so we will check it out. i told the mech maybe this is from the days when the car would NOT engage R and this reading is still on the ecu. i just said that because i got it on my 360 when i scanned it with an sd3.
anyway, he will check all wiring and hosing to the actuator.
got him f1 fluid for bleeding the system.
not that i care at this point, but it is interesting to note that the position of initial slip reading is 2.07 today on the computer. it should be 4.8 to 5.2 from what i understand. hmm?
also, clutch wear is being shown as "---" instead of a percentage.
wondering if the bleeding will take care of those things, because at this point i will NOT disassemble the clutch and put it back together. it was performed last time at the AD. edit: reminder that clutch, clutch sensor, TO bearing r all brand new
so yeah.. vid:

thanks guys, YES it sure does feel good. in fact, i am now more excited than when i first bought it. i have the 'buying a new car' feeling all over again.
road test conducted, all is well. now it is only the clutch configuration left. i.e. playing with the computers. the numbers don't add up AND the car is jerky at low rpm according to the mech when he drove it, makes sense and goes hand in hand with the readings
attached is snaps of the 355 f1 workbook that fortunately the mech has. i went to the shop to show him my findings as to how to proceed with the configuration as per fchat but was happy (ok, impressed) that he knows what he is doing.
interior refurbish (plastic) will start immediately after installing the rear bumper

ok so finally something worthy to go into this thread
got the car yesterday, fitted grill and took apart the ac vents. i already cleaned them and they look great from 1 meter away, but up close still have the goowy touch so i kept them at the shop and will look at them on saturday. whatever i do to them will be done to the centre console switches so it's kind of a big deal to me. tires not the best in the world, but they will have to do for now. or a long while lol.
at any rate, the car needs the clutch to be calibrated because 1st is a nightmare and 2nd is like a newb driving stick. i yesterday tried self-calibrating the PIS/IO with the key (procedure in pics above) but no hope. 80% certain i did it wrong though AND the car was not stone cold as it should have been apparently. still took the car out for a long drive midnight to get some exercise and test it. happy with initial result, needs to be finalized.
.. BUT today i tried the self cal again - it wasn't stone cold yesterday when i tried for the 1st time - and it was cold now having sat for more than 12 hrs in ~13 deg C. did it with the key, no SD or any computer to test errors or set anything, whatever right? i didn't care at this point and went ahead
result? well i THINK it got better moving from 1st/2nd
or it could be that my foot is the one that has done the self-calibrating and feeding the throttle to get it rolling gently
i will definitely have to set it with the computers, but i also would like to use the car now and quench my 355 thirst

FAAAAWK ME!! IT WORKED !!!!! ...... for a while. no idea what happened later.
as mentioned above, after i tried the self-cal i took it out for a spin, felt a 70% improvement. parked the car for an hour or so.
went down to move some cars about reallocating parking, and wow.. am i dreaming or what.. it was so smooth it was BEAUTIFUL! reverse, then 1st, then 2nd, then 1st again etc etc
my father was outside so he asked me what's going on and i told him let's take it for a spin, and we do, in the neighbourhood.. and i'm showing him -with absolute pride lol- how the car is shifting and he concurs that as a passenger it feels like it's an auto! that's how smooth it was from a roll
so we park again, dead stop, which we did many times in the test - going to full stop and rolling from 1st or 2nd and it was flawless. but this time my dad drives and the first time he puts his feet on the throttle it felt bad again
and it has continued to be bad .. just like yesterday.
mind you, i did the self calibration and had no computer to do any type of readings, nor inputs.. and it was not perfect until i parked the car (after a test, let it cool off, and came to move it)
but for those 15 minutes of driving around in 1st/2nd (maybe that was its undoing actually), i got a glimpse of my future if all goes well god willing .. and boy is it bright!
will keep it to cool off, and will think about whether i want to try the self cal again before testing it again or not.. something tells me once the car is reset it will be perfect again!
