this hurts to see...I still do not understand why Ferrari did not just ask for permission, I mean yes Ferrari would pay Ford royalties.. but it would be pocket change for Ferrari (even with their sales down)
I'm no financial advisor, but, I think it was a poor business decision from Ferrari and I hope they learn from it. Communication is a key success for a healthy business

What Ford really wants is the court's injunction against Ferrari using the name. That is what is of most value to them.
