McLaren back at the Ring' with the P1

If I'm not mistaken the 918 team was not exactly a couple of guys with a socket wrench. Porsche have a permanent presence at the Ring, unlike McLaren.
But my point is still valid; I take any of these so called factory backed Ring assaults with a pinch of salt. None of these companies are above cheating, history has taught us that.
When Sport Auto does one of there respected tests then I will sit up and listen, maybe you should too

Streetrod is right, ring times for future owners don't mean crap. All 375 will likely sell out. But Ron's stupid boast in Geneva makes McLaren automotive look like fools especially with the GT and MSO division heavily involved in the P1 program. 20 yrs ago gordan Murray let his F1 do all the talking, can't say as much for Ron Dennis. The F1 set all the records, again can't say as much with the P1. again P1=TUNED MP4-12C

I've stated all along that the PR dept of McLaren (the whole lot) L O N G should have been fired eons back! from that first PR fiasco with fifth gear. Monkey is exactly right. No where near as polished as Porsche. Ferraris cars are PR enough for them. McLaren on the other hand, amateurs!

6:39!! I bet that time posted on that promo movie was a calculation done by computer and it won't be far of the real deal. Time to make some history again for mclaren! I think the LaFerrari won't even dare to come close. I wonder what would the cx-75 could do....
