My view of the show......

Best of the show: the CHICKS!! And the F1LM! Period!!

Best colored car on the show: P1. That new yellow shade with CF black accents its just sex! Not to talk about how savage, hightech, fit and stealth the car looks live in front of your eyes.

The best car on the show: LaFerrari and Spyker C8 Aileron. You see everybody trying to squeeze to catch a pic. In my view, the Aileron is one piece of detail madness!!! Its insane, absolutly insane to level of quality, design, original design, not copied!!! that the Aileron has! A supercharged version with at least more 100ps its in the final stage of testing.

LaFerrari is the most well conceived hypercar i have ever saw. From what i could know from Ferrari staff, very very bespoke paintjobs/finishes are coming, especially from Zanasi. There are more than 3 paint schemes available, and there's at least one full exposed CF coming! And its true, they went back to 399 chassis available, just like before the overwelming Enzos requests.

Tons of other things about the show i will share later. Never witnessed a show with so many hypercars per sq inch in my life!

Oh... And the worse of the show, the Veneno and the lack of oficial/availability staff at Pagani. I was even impressed with the low number of staff. The Veneno..... I dont know what to say, everybody showed up with completly new generations, Lamborghini is playing tuning..... What is going on? The Gallardo is more than 10 years old.....

You joking right?!? how do you figure the P1 is above the Haurya. Pagani is in a league of their own, higher than any of the major automotive super/extoics car builers. Only company that would come close to them is koenigsegg.

What Horacio said is very true that the P1 is no more than a MP12 with a extensive bodykit, much .like the Veneno. Same CF center and engine. Having said that the P1 looks ten time better than La Ferarri.

 

streetrod - I lost a lot of respect for Pagani with the Top Gear incident. The use of those tires was underhanded to start with, but my displeasure comes more from the fact that when confronted with the evidence they chose lie about it in the face of what we could all plainly see. Horrible decision in my view - almost unforgivable.

Also (since you asked) I have never been a big fan of the Huayra. No doubt the Zonda was in need of being replaced so things had to change, but the Huayra isn't what I would have expected. Maybe in subsequent configurations they will fix the face and give the car more power - that will help.

I don't run around blasting my opinion because no one should care what I think, but take a product I don't like and then cheat to make it look more impressive, then lie about it when caught and perhaps now you can understand better my recent comments. You see it as being blown out of proportion - I strongly disagree.

The P1 may have better horsepower but the Hunrya maybe have better handling to power to weight ratio.
