I LOVE the way this car looks, inside and out. I'm assuming the performance, once actually tested, will also be impressive. I can see I am in the minority of people who like it and am surprised. To me Mclaren is back, and they have not disappointed, in terms of design. We'll have to wait and see what the actual performance tests reveal.

 

I think it looks good but not great so far. I'm sure the performance and drive will be amazing, and there's still plenty of time before it hits the street. I expect to want one, but the 458 will be tough competition.

 

I mean it was never going to be a sure fire winner trying to follow up the F1 with which it will always be compared. But with that said I also give it an Eh, unless it has some groundbreaking insane performance which I am also doubting...

 

Seems like an amazing car that any one of us would be lucky to have in our stable. I actually like the design and applaud McLaren for not going too far over the top to create an adult car without wings and obnoxious body panels. Can't wait to see one in person and drive one. This car will be a purist's driving machine just like the F1.

From the press release it looks like an astonishing car and there are so many innovative things to offer and the looks of the car is pretty nice too. I would like to add some critics as well - there are some borrowed design features and I am not a fan of the interior, looks rather odd and japanese for McLaren. But I am sure that still it will be great car to drive and to enjoy and I sure it will give 458 Italia a bit of fright.
