Not understanding BMW.

BMW has a history of underreporting engine power figures and being conservative with its performance estimates. Independent tests typically reveal different numbers (ie 0-60/62 times and hp). The 335is numbers make sense if you compare them to the e92 335i numbers on BMW USA which states 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. BMW North America
Insideline reported 4.8 in their 2007 335i coupe full test: Full Test: 2007 BMW 335i Coupe
Same goes for the e90 335i. BMW USA states 5.4 6MT / 5.6 Steptronic. Insideline reportred to 60 in 5.3 in their 2009 test.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the e92 335is DCT get’s to sixty in around 4.5 seconds - which is pretty damn impressive!!
