370Z AT Twin-Turbo on track

It's a twin-turbo 370Z autmatic. The movie is a on-board from de car on a 2.5 miles straight track. It hits 155 mph because the car is new and can't pass 6000rpm in this first miles

YouTube - 370Z twin turbo on board video

Maybe tomorrow I 'll post some pics.

So you TT'ed a car before breaking it in? Is that normal to do?

I'm from Brazil and I want to know a the world you use to call the time the car is not on the best performance, the few first milles ? Here in brazil we say "amaciar o carro" thats to use the engine slowly.

STLG the car is not mine! The owner was looking for a diferrent project and find a shop in USA that TT'ed the car new. It comes to Brazil new with no more than 100 milles and he start to use the car frequentilly.

The car comes to Brazil by a Importer that is used to bring exotics whit mods(they are bringing a ZR1 whith 750hp, and brought a Shelby GT500 whith 800hp) I know thas the normal is to use the car first and after prepare the engine, but in Brazil probabilly this job will not have the same quality as the americam!
tks!

6000 rpm still seems high for a "break in" period. When I was breaking in my sti I barely shifted above 3000 rpm.

Guess your break in period wasn't as painful as mine then

I love GTRs, but I think TT'ing a 370z is just way more badass. I'd probably do something similar if I had the budget...but I'd start out with a 6 spd

Awesome, but if your driving a brand new twin turbo'd car up to 155 then I wouldn't consider "break-in" as part of your vocabulary.
