GReddy decided to stop by with their Nissan 370Z to tune their Twin TD06S-20G turbo kit. The results were amazing! GReddy has designed what they call a “tuner” kit for the Nissan 370Z which will include: Twin TD06S-20G GReddy Mitsubishi turbochargers, a cast manifold, Twin Tial/GReddy 38mm wastegates, GReddy 3row front mount intercooler, with an Airinx airfilter that is positioned in the bumper to maximize cold air intake.
The “tuner” kit will not include any fuel management, but GReddy will be offering an optional upgrade that will include, “our own fuel management kit with pre-programmed e-manage Ultimate, injectors, pump upgrade, regulator, and return system”, says Kenji Sumino - Vice President of operations. “The car we tested today has our fuel management kit using 440cc injectors and 255 walbro pump with our fuel return kit. Boost was preset with Tial 38mm wastegate with 0.4bar spring. We set tuned the Air/Fuel ratio and ignition timing with E-manage Ultimate very conservatively but glad to see that we made GOOD power!!!”
The Z dynoed at 450rwhp at 0.4BAR - a 100+ horsepower gain from the factory claimed 332 horsepower. GReddy decided that the 450 ponies were good enough with the motor being in its factory state. More information to come as news develops!
