ti will weigh a bit less but are a few pounds worth thousands of dollars? i don't think so and it's not gonna make any more power than a 90mm stainless exhaust. it's more for show and bragging rights than anything else. for the price of a ti exhaust you can get this 304ss exhaust, midpipe, and downpipe lol.

Superb your very helpful, should I look into getting headers ( if there are any ) the same time so it reduces the shipping cost instead of buying each part individually.

no worries brother, im happy to help.

no headers available, the turbochargers are integrated into the exhaust manifolds. i would order the midpipe, downpipes, and exhaust at the same time to save on shipping costs.

edit: how far does your brother want to go with this car? what is his power goal?

It's not a hard thing to gain power with exhaust system on GT-R.
So you might also want something that sounds nice to satisfy the owner.
I recommend our exhaust system.

YouTube - Nissan R35 GT-R kreissieg?Passing Turbo-back F1 sound Valvetronic Exhaust system

Installed on TommyKaira GT-R.

KSG exhaust sounds the best Any intakes do you recommend ?

Seems like the Cobb tune plus programmer is a good combination

In aull cases you should go with a resonated midpipe.

Best setups :

High price : Akrapovic
Mid Price : HKS legamax resonated mid pipe + Legamax Exhaust (or titanium spec R $$)
Low side price : AAM resonated mid pipe + AAM v2 exhaust

Downpipes : go with cheap deka : works well, 550$, no to much welds which could crack over time

Variable exhausts (with sound switch)
Cost : Kreissieg
Mid cost : AAM
Low cost : DEKA (good quality tho)

Or you can f*** up the brand and go with a titanium chinese exhaust which cost nothing and seems good quality
search jiajun : 3 designs, resonated mid pipes or not, down pipes (steel, titanium, inconel), search NISSAN direct from China (Mainland)

search guangzhou :3 designs, resonated mid pipes or not, down pipes (steel, titanium, inconel), search titanium exhaust system for auto direct from China (Mainland)

Intakes : cobb tuning is the way to go (slightly larger for better maf reading without rescalling, fits easy)

Intercooler (mandatory i think): AMS cheapest of all intercoolers and one of the best, bar and plate, cast construction, 1000hp proven

Exhausts are a very personal think on the GTR:

Our system has a very unique tone to it:

YouTube - World's First 9 second GT-R by AMS Performance

YouTube - AMS Performance "Agent Orange" Nissan GT-R start up

YouTube - AMS Performance SR1000 GT-R Turbo Kit Start Up

YouTube - AMS Nissan GT-R engine sound

All the video clips there show variations of our exhaust. the White GTR and Silver GT-R All have our 90mm catless Downpipes, Resonated 90mm midpipe and 90mm exhaust.

The Orange car (louder of the three) has our non resonated midpipe and it is a completely catless and non muffled exhaust. Its loud but it has that distinct F1 note to it when its at wide open throttle.

Eric
