Evo X GSR. Best looking, best driving one yet.

The STi looks like-- to quote Clarkson-- a smashed buttock, and sounds like one, too.

I don't think it would be good for a daily, but if you (or any of your friends) are looking for a rare Evo for the collection, my Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition is still for sale.

Otherwise, my vote is for the Evo X.

I think we only get the Paddle one in NZ.

STi anyway. The Evo rode really harshly.

I recently test drove both while my girlfriend was out looking for a car and like you said, the sti handles a lot better for town driving.

I don't know much about mods for either car, but I would definitely pickup an STI over an EVO X if I were in the market.

However, as I said above, the evo is a very impressive car and with the active yaw control is very fast around the track. You really can't go wrong either. I just prefer the sti!!!
^ So your saying I should get which now?
j/k
do you have any pix? Which color combo?

Didn't know that the STI had no warranty! That would definitely be a deal killer. Did you drive either of these? If you didn't then you really should as you would get a feel of each.

Personally i'd get the STi...
A while back before i decided to get my truck i was really contemplating one of the above cars and in the end it was the STi hands down
imo the STi just has more character than the EVO, the interior is much better and the overall feel of the STi just makes it standout.

Cant say much about performance as i only lightly tested the cars and didnt have the chance to push them.. not that it would matter in my case as the capabilities of both cars go well beyond my own.

and if modifying is your goal then both have a strong following and between all the vendors and tuners you have an endless list of options.

Interior IMO is 100% to the Subaru... Right?
