I have an aluminum hybrid. It's my commuter bike when I want to ride to work. I much prefer my carbon fiber road bike to it.

Skier. I've had hard riding stiff CF bikes and I've had plush CF bikes. Since I've never had a bike that wasn't CF other than my huffy from childhood i cant say one thing or another but to lump all CF as stiff is just plain wrong

I can't speak so much for the road bikes but every aluminum mtb I've rode the frame has been very harsh and transmits tons of vibrations everywhere.

Forgot to reply to this. I've got a box of stuff but none of it is worth buying. Price point and Jensonusa have such good deals it's better to get new.

Jenson usa deff has some good deals. I need a new set of tires for the scalpel 29er. I guess i'm just soo damn fast I've worn out a set in maby 150miles.

Not sure if i'm gonna go with the OEM spec racing ralphs or not. I want the lightest tire possible.
Just put a new carbon seat post and bare carbon seat on it and just cracked 23.9lbs. As light as I think it will get without a carbon wheelset.

Going out tomorrow for my first real ride since Ironman Texas. This is going to hurt.
