3 1/2 mile run at 5:45am this morning. I don't know what the hell I was thinking. Working out in the morning for me is the equivelant of cutting fingers off. My body just hates it.

Last night 2 mile run and 1 hour with my trainer. I hate him. He kicks my ass. I leave barely able to put the key in the ignition.

Been murdering myself lately, lost 9 of my new 12 lbs vaycay weight in 9 days. First time in my life I've actually genuinely tried to (and needed to) drop weight. Can't believe how easy it is. Why are there so many fat people?!

Short term weight loss is really easy. Most people can get up for a challenge that lasts a week of two. The problem is the lifestyle/habits of a fat person (in general, so people don't get their panties in a bunch) are to eat too much of the wrong things and not exercise over time.

They might get fed up (haha!) from time to time and try an extreme diet, but if I've found one thing to be a constant its that people who do extreme diets always gain weight back because after the extreme they just go back to eating like shit and not moving.

+1
social eating is my biggest challenge.
i don't think i can explain in a short reply, but let's just say that if you don't eat then you would be as if insulting the host and trying to imply to everyone that there is something "bothering" you or pending between you

define murdering what is your routine?
good luck, and do not forget that not all of your added weight was fat

My workout today was a nice quarter mile walk to the beach carrying all the gear, some kayaking on the lake, then the same hike back.

Tomorrow marks 3 weeks of waking up early and running. It also marks a month since i last had fast food. It's by no means a big accomplishment, but it's a start to improving my lifestyle.

Yeah! I remember when I started waking up early to swim. As I went further along, it got easier and easier and easier until it would just feel wrong if I didn't. You're gonna get there and it's gonna be awesome.

Except now I've realized I have a really bad sweet tooth. REALLY bad. Gotta lay off the sugars. I threw away a bag of some snack I had laying around in my pantry because I just kept picking at it. Sometimes you gotta take drastic measures, right?
