Tested my back out today, and my new app. Thanks AG. Little cruise down to the beach and through the woods.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping I don't put too much weight on during the recovery so I will be in the gym at least doing a ridiculous amount of push ups, dips, etc.

The thing is, I know people have a thing for sweets, unhealthy burgers, pizza, great wine etc etc. But at the end of the day, if you want to get really fit most people can't eat that kind of food and get to their 100% level. It's not hard to stop eating the unhealthy food. Just. Stop. Putting. It. In. Your. Mouth.

I have a GNARLY sweet tooth and a penchant for snacking. If something is out, I'll grab a bite while cooking CONSTANTLY. That said, I kept away from it throughout most of the weight-cutting process. It wasn't easy to start but once I started seeing results, it was easier to say no then yes to eating badly!

The easiest thing for me to give up was alcohol cause, although I like it, I could definitely live without it. Cheez Its, completely different story.

I've reached the point where I think I just want to maintain my weight, maybe cut down the fat, so I've become a bit more lenient with snacking. Still no alcohol though, and portion control as always. If I don't do cardio though, I will avoid unhealthy goodness. Can't have one without the other.

Absolutely that is how you do it. Same way my GF (now wife) quit smoking. She just stopped smoking cigarettes. That doesn't mean it isn't hard to do. In fact not eating foods that you really like is extremely difficult, especially given the sheer variety and availability of bad food. Its like a crack addict having to try to quit with crack at every 7-11, mcdonald's, grocery store, company event and dinner at home.
