Is there any benefit to doing HSPU's over any variation of a shoulder press?

I'm fighting tendonitis in my left shoulder right now :/ Kinda sucks but didn't bother me on the HSPU's.

No dumbbells needed and its a body weight movement. I personally feel you use a lot more smaller muscles as well with HSPU's to stabilize the body.

I prefer just doing heavy push presses instead of HSPU's.

I read an article a couple of weeks ago... Start by getting into shape, then come back and ask about weight loss.
