This stuff happens everyday on the streets of America. Just because this guy was in a bunch of bad movies becomes no more important than the many that die just going home from work and certainly not driving recklessly. Fast & Furious = Fatalities. I agree you want to drive fast go to a track.

 

Regardless if speed was a factor, show a little respect. We dont know all the details, for all we know there could have been a malfuntion with the CGT.

 

Sad to see people taking shots at the dead. Bottom line is we do not have all of the facts that would allow us to make an intelligent determination of what actually occurred. Driver error, excessive speed, mechanical failure etc. are all potential factors. Like most things in life we will never really know the full extent of what happened. Best just to celebrate the lives of those lost and try and learn a lesson from what happened.

 

Now that you have removed your link.. did it prove they perished on impact or because per the video people ran the opposite direction.

 

According to coroner, both bodies cannot be identified due to heavy burns. They are waiting for dental scans to be able to "officially identify" the victims, and also know for sure who was the driver and who was the passenger. So that they know 100% that Walker was the passenger and not the driver. At least this is what i've heard in the news

RIP Paul. Paul Walker aka "The Buster" largely inspired the newest generation of the car community to get into cars in the first place. To this day, if you ask myself, or any of the people in my closely knit car family, how they got involved or inspired to become part of the auto community, they will say because of The Fast and Furious. My best friend and his girlfriend both have S2000s BECAUSE he fell in love with them after the first movie as a kid. Needless to say, Paul was the main character in the movies and a huge part of the auto community and he will be sorely missed. The auto community lost an icon and I will surely be cruising for The Buster.

What get's me is all the BS we are hearing on the CGT in the media. I've generally had little respect for the media and the hype they generate to gain advertising dollars, but to harp on the car is idiotic.
