I'm 100% certain the RS will be PDK only.

I'm 99.9% certain there will be a "limited edition" manual version after all the PDK versions are rolled out and the hype dies down.

Smile RS Manual

Extra cost, limited edition option. You must purchase full leather in combination.

If money is no object, I'd get the 991 GT3 then trade up to 991 GT3RS once avail. But for me (money being a factor), I'm sticking w/ my 7.2RS and skipping the regular 991GT3. I'm so much happier w/ my 997 GT3RS over my 997 GT3. I would have saved a lot of $$$ going straight to the RS. I disagree that the 991GT3 will 'hold it's value'. It'll take a big hit from MSRP to used just like any car -- esp. once the RSs become avail. Definitely looking forward to the 991RS!!

Agree, the PDK gearbox will make the GT3 appeal to a new / border set of buyers. When combined with the great press reviews and in my view ugly styling of the 991 Turbo, this is going to be the best selling GT3 ever. That's not going to help used values in 12-18months time, but if you are looking to pick up a used car in the future you should have more to pick from and the price should have down a bit more relative to the previous 997 GT3s.

Falling in value like that? I disagree. Our dealership has a list of 30 people wanting one. Beyond their already long allocation list. More buyers equals better resale.
