GT3's will show up the end of this year. I was told the turbo would be released this year as well.

A few interesting thoughts I have reading through this thread:

-if you go back and read all the other threads we have, making assumptions of whats to come and what it will be like....we are usually way off.

-the GT3/pdk will probably be less engaging to drive, if porsche is claiming it will have a 3.3 second 60mph, then it will probably be 3 flat in reality. It will also definitely do faster lap times and as already been mentioned, in order to keep up with the other manufacturers the third pedal just slows you down. Still prefer manual in GT series 911's, even if its slower.

-if the GT2 comes out with PDK, I will be happy about keeping my car and hope its value will even go up. But can you imagine if the TTS does 2.6 seconds, what would a GT2 with PDK do???

Supersports is an unknown quantity at this point
Cant wait for the 991 RS. I thought the 4.0 RS was sensational. Does anyone have any thoughts on colours as I know the gen II was a mixed bag.

Is white still the colour to go for?

you still hve the pics of my car mr supersports!!the 991 rs needs to be in the same combo,be interesting this time round if theres going to be flame retardent seats in the rs! as the 991 gt3 clubsport shows them in leather and alcantara,i think they got away with it on the 4.0 as they were already homolgated with the standard mk11 rs...the rs has always been an event and worth waiting for!

The GT2 will be slower, due to the RWD vs AWD, but 0-180mph will be stunning.

Also first in line, did not take the 991GT3.

If they offer PDK only RS with some wings and CF and call it an RS I have no interest unless they start racing that package. Still think PDK is boring both on the street and on the track.

Yes, faster, but if you want faster buy a PDK TTS/TTT

It seems that the car will have only PDK option ....
I expect a little bit more 500 HP , I think that they will have to do a little bit more on the body and engine in order for the RS to have any kind of interest .
The new GT3 has already the large body , that was one of the big difference between the 997 GT3 and RS .
I hope an interesting body kit with more aero features and a engine that take 9500 rpm ...
