991 GT3 rs?

Not at all; you - of all people in this thread - know the differences between the two, so I was curious why you would describe PDK and a sequential as somewhat similar.

I think that we will be surprised by the GT3 pdk .
Porsche decided to wait a lot before to place the pdk in a GT3 .
I think that they were not satisfied of the speed of the gearbox , but more than that not satisfied of the feeling of the paddle shift.
I think ( and hope...) that they have work a lot on this and we will have the same feeling compare to a real race sequential gearbox with paddle shift .

Technically, I wasn't really meaning they were similiar. The new Cup is shifted at the steering wheel and the action between that and a PDK shift is "similiar" so to speak. I was really being general. I know there's a huge diff between the Seq tranny and the PDK. I do think Porsche is taking us somewhere similiar as they need to compete with Ferrari, etc in racing. Around a track, 2 pedals are faster than 3. Just reality.

Don't know how that can be true. The GT3 won't hit the US until Feb/March. The Turbo will be late summer/early fall. Porsche will not release the RS within 6 months of the GT3. Plus the Turbo is a long run car. Big money maker. The RS will have smaller numbers and a big bubble of demand, maybe a 2 year run at most. . Porsche will want to give the Turbo time to have some legs in terms of multi year sales.
