Agree 100%. I did not make the move. I'd have made it for a 960/961 mid engine, 600hp, @ 400/500K with 300/400kgs less...
That would have been a winner and certainly a solution to the current debacle in GT racing...

At mid 300's a super low mile CGT seems like a great deal now.

Apart from C&C and car meets, it doesn't.

Though I agree the price is absolutely insane, I doubt Porsche WANTS to make it $800k, it's just the fact of how much money the R&D and production will cost. Porsche would lose an extreme amount of money if they priced it at $450k.

I understand that Porsche is trying to make the defining supercar of this era. But it'd be cool if they could build maybe 100 918 Hybrids with an ultra limited run, and then make all the rest PDK, Hybrid, and AWD free, and price them at $450k.

@ Raul, yeah it does. In fact, about six months ago, my uncle bumped into leno while he was also out in his. May not be an every day occurance, but with the amount of exotics around here, its bound to happen.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's bound to happen but it's not like driving around even an AMG or an M model and seeing another car like yours.
